A look at what's happening in Cleveland State Athletics...

Men's Basketball
- The Vikings (7-19, 2-11) will play their final regular season home games this week, hosting UIC (Thursday, February 14) and IUPUI (Saturday, February 16) in a pair of Horizon League contests.
- Last time out, Cleveland State split its games against Green Bay and Milwaukee, picking up a 78-68 victory over the Panthers and dropping an 82-65 decision against the Phoenix.
- In the win over Milwaukee, sophomore Tyree Appleby became the first Viking all-time to record a triple-double, finishing with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
Dennis Felton Radio Show: The weekly call-in show about Cleveland State basketball will take place on Monday, February 11 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Harry Buffalo Downtown. Al Pawlowski will serve as the host, with head coach Dennis Felton talking about all things Viking Basketball. The show can be heard on WHK, AM-1420.

Women's Basketball
- Cleveland State (10-14, 7-6) will return to the friendly confines of the Wolstein Center this week, hosting Milwaukee (Friday, February 15) and Green Bay (Sunday, February 17) in a pair of #HLWBB games.
- The Vikings split their games last weekend, picking up a 74-48 win at UIC before dropping a 64-36 contest at IUPUI.
- In the win over UIC, Mariah Miller posted a career-high 25 points, and currently ranks second among Horizon League players averaging 16.0 ppg.

Men's Swimming & Diving
- Cleveland State will head to the Horizon League Championships in Indianapolis this week. The four-day meet begins Wednesday, February 13.
- Kevin Rapien was named Acting Head Coach last week and will lead the team to the League meet.
- Matthew Martin (200 butterfly) and Dominik Niedzialek (200 backstroke) are the top seeds in their events while CSU's 200 free relay team is also the top seed.

Women's Swimming & Diving
- Cleveland State will head to the Horizon League Championships in Indianapolis this week. The four-day meet begins Wednesday, February 13.

- Lexie Kostelnik (1650 freestyle) and Molly McNamara (200 butterfly) are the top seeds in their events.

Wrestling
- Cleveland State will host back-to-back duals this Saturday, February 16, as it welcomes Northern Illinois and nationally ranked Lock Haven.
- The Vikings dropped duals to Clarion (9-25) and Michigan State (7-36) this past weekend.
- Redshirt senior Armando Torres claimed his team-leading 27th win with a major decision victory at Michigan State.

Indoor Track & Field
- The Vikings will have the week off from competition, as they prepare for the 2019 Horizon League Indoor Championships on Saturday, February 23 and Sunday, February 24.
- Last time out, Monica Johnson posted a program record in the 60 Meter Hurdles, while the Vikings also set a program record in the 4x400 Relay.
- Cleveland State currently owns seven top-five individual and relay marks among Horizon League teams, including the second fastest time in the 4x400 relay that the Vikings set last weekend (3:58.66).

Fencing
- Cleveland State will take this week off from competition as it tunes up for the Midwest Conference Championships at Ohio State next weekend.
- The Vikings hosted the 10th annual John Szent-Kiraly Open this past weekend.
- Sophomore Ahmad Taqi placed second in the mixed foil discipline while freshman Abigail Barr was second in the women's epee event.

Lacrosse
- Cleveland State will play at home for the final time for over a month this weekend as it welcomes Bellarmine Saturday, February 16.
- The Vikings furiously rallied from a 7-0 deficit to pull within one late in the game but dropped a 10-8 contest to Michigan this past weekend.
- Sophomore Michael Wilson had a team-high three points while junior Brandon Ruditz grabbed nine ground balls.

Softball
- Cleveland State will kickoff the 2019 season at the East Carolina Pirate Clash this weekend, set for five games over a three-day span.
- The Vikings will open the season with a doubleheader against St. Francis and East Carolina on Friday, February 15.
- Cleveland State will be under the direction of first-year head coach Amy Kyler, who returned to her alma mater as the 12th head coach in program history last fall.

Women's Tennis
- Cleveland State (1-2) will continue its current five-match roadswing this week, traveling to West Virginia (Friday, February 15) and Duquesne (Sunday, February 17).
- Last time out, the Vikings dropped a pair of hard fought 4-3 decisions at Toledo and Bowling Green, dropping their first matches of the 2019 spring season.
- Siân Payne and Gaby Schoenberg both went 2-0 on the weekend, keeping their singles records perfect this spring. 

Men's Tennis
- The Vikings (3-4) will finally play in the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion for the first time during the spring season this weekend, hosting a trio of matches against Binghamton (Saturday, February 16), St. Bonaventure (Sunday, February 17) and Oberlin (Sunday, February 17).
- Last time out, the Vikings picked up a 6-1 victory at Duquesne, closing out a seven-match roadswing over the first four weeks of the 2019 spring campaign.
- Luke Phillips owns a team-best 4-1 singles record this spring, while Clark Bilinovich, Nico Mostardi and Matthew Terry all own three wins.

2019 Hall of Fame
- The 2019 Cleveland State Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner & Induction Ceremony will take place this Saturday, February 16, with J'Nathan Bullock (Men's Basketball), Kailey Klein (Women's Basketball) and Phil Orno (Men's Tennis) being inducted.

Viking of the Week
Tyree Appleby, Men's Basketball
The sophomore became the first Viking in program history to record a triple-double, finishing with 19 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 11 assists in the win over Milwaukee last weekend. For the week, he averaged 21.5 points, 8.0 assists and 6.5 rebounds per game, as he also finished with 24 points against Green Bay, marking his ninth 20-point performance this season. In the two games, he shot 47-percent from behind-the-arc, converting 11 three-pointers on the weekend.
