Some things are as comfortably predictable as the change of the seasons here in Cleveland: New Year's resolutions, Super Bowl parties, the St. Patty's Day parade, Opening Day, the start of golf season, the Rib Cook-Off, 4th of July fireworks, backyard cookouts, Browns Training Camp, back-to-school sales, the Air Show, tailgating, NBA basketball, Turkey Bowl games and the holiday rush. more |

Twenty some years ago, I climbed a ladder and cut a loop off the net following my first championship basketball season. The tradition of cutting down the nets gives each of the victors a symbolic reminder of climbing--and reaching--the top. I tied that first loop around my key ring and carried it with me until it could be replaced by a newer championship loop. more |

Game day is here and things have been kind of quiet around the team hotel. The pep rally gets going in about an hour at a place right next to the arena and even though it should be a pretty good time, I am probably going to skip it. more |
