Sports Information Intern
Cleveland State University is accepting applications for the position of Sports Information Intern. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and should have good communications skills, a knowledge of college sports and an interest to enter the sports information field. Working knowledge of desktop publishing (In-design), statcrew, web sites and previous experience as a student assistant in a sports information office is a plus. Responsibilities include serving as the primary sports information contact for several Olympic sports, assisting with the revenue sports publicity, developing content for the athletic web site and assisting in the daily operation of the sports information office. Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and work nights and weekends, and have the ability to communicate with coaches, media, and staff and be able to carry out tasks with minimal supervision.

New Media, Social Media & Marketing Intern
Cleveland State University is accepting applications for the position of New Media, Social Media and Marketing Intern.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related field and previous experience as a student assistant in a collegiate sports information and/or marketing office preferred and have strong writing, editing, computer (PC and MAC) and oral communication skills. Successful applicants will be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, Final Cut, iMovie and Adobe Premiere. Candidates must have strong communication, listening, and organizational skills required. Preferred candidates will have experience with social media such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter and must be able to work in fast-paced environment and work nights and weekends, and have the ability to communicate with coaches, media, and staff and be able to carry out tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include coordinating the live video streaming of home athletics events for selected sports and creating online video content, including interviews with coaches, weekly recap shows and postgame highlights. Will also assist with social media initiatives, including Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube and with the marketing and promotion of CSU athletics with primary responsibility for women's basketball and select Olympic sports.
