DiVenti Commits to Join Vikings

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State University head fencing coach Andy Tulleners announced that Paul DiVenti has committed to join the Vikings for the 2019-2020 academic year.

"I am very pleased to have Paul joining the men's fencing program for next season," Tulleners said. "He is a great athletic talent joining our already strong men's foil squad. He is an outstanding student with tremendous team-focused enthusiasm, and we are looking forward to see how the team grows with him coming."

What you're looking forward to at CSU:
I look forward to fencing with CSU's team, working on my computer science degree and living in the city of Cleveland.

Why CSU?
CSU has everything I want in a college. I want to be a digital forensic scientist, and CSU offers a computer science major along with internship/co-op opportunities. CSU also has an NCAA fencing team. I like Coach Andy, the fencers and really appreciated their hospitality and team spirit when I visited the team back in September. Finally, CSU is located downtown in a great city, and I really liked the campus as soon as I saw it.
