Named to the Horizon League All-Newcomer team...started 30 out of 34 games he appeared in...led the team with a .380 batting average with two home runs, 12 doubles and 20 RBI...fifth on the team with 49 hits...recorded his first hit as a Viking in his first start at Georgia State (2/20) when he went 1-for-3...had a season high four hits against Butler (4/17), at Butler (4/25) and at Wright State (5/16)...went 4-for-5 against Butler (4/17) with one double, two RBI and one run...was 4-for-6 at Butler (4/25) with one home run, one double, three RBI and two runs...went 4-for-5 at Wright State (5/16) with one home run, five RBI and one run...went 2-for-4 against Milwaukee (5/22) in the Horizon League Championship with one double, one RBI and one run.

Played for two seasons at Kalamazoo Valley C.C... hit .418 during his two seasons there.

Earned first team all-state accolades as a senior when he belted nine homers and hit .476 ... chosen to play in the Michigan All-Star game... earned second team all-state honors as a junior while setting the team home run record (10) and RBI record (55) ... was a part of two high school teams that won the league championship in 2004 and 2005.
