Earned all-conference and first team all-Medina County Gazette honors as a senior...batted .391 as a senior, hitting four home runs and 17 RBI...team placed second in the league with a 12-3 mark...earned three letters as a catcher...all-academic team and Coca-Cola Top Scholar...played with Andy's 9ers in summer league...won state Connie Mack title and finished second in Battlecreek and third in Beast of the East in 2001...also earned a letter in cross country and played basketball as a center.
