CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland State will open the Horizon League portion of its schedule in the Wolstein Center on New Year's Day against Youngstown State as the League unveiled the 2017-18 men's basketball composite league schedule on Wedesday afternoon.
Tip times will be released at a later date.
The Vikings open League play with three straight home games, hosting Green Bay (Jan. 4) and Milwaukee (Jan. 6) after the opener before heading on the road for three consecutive road games, playing at Detroit Mercy (Jan. 10), at Oakland (Jan. 12) and at defending League champion Northern Kentucky on Jan. 15.
CSU's other Horizon League home games are against League newcomer IUPUI (Jan. 18), UIC (Jan. 20), Wright State (Feb. 1) and Northern Kentucky (Feb. 3), Detroit Mercy (Feb. 14) and Oakland (Feb. 16).
The Vikings other League road games are at Green Bay (Jan. 25), at Milwaukee (Jan. 27), at IUPUI (Feb. 8), at UIC (Feb. 10), at Wright State (Feb. 19) and at Youngstown State (Feb. 24).
The Horizon League Championship will be played from March 2-6 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, which is opened earlier this week.
