CLEVELAND – The Cleveland State University athletic department has unveiled season ticket plans for the upcoming 2019-20 men's basketball season, which will go on sale to the public on Monday, June 17.
For the 2019-20 season, athletic department officials have announced a special promotion for new season ticket holders. Fans purchasing tickets for the first time will have the opportunity to secure lower level seats for just $75 or $99, depending on seat location, for all orders prior to September 1. Vikings fans can also earn a number of early purchase incentives and participate in drawings for gear, gift cards and other prizes.
"One of our core goals that will help us to deliver on our mission of providing Cleveland State student-athletes a transformational experience is to develop unprecedented support from our alumni network throughout northeast Ohio, our CSU faculty and staff on campus and other fans living and working in Greater Cleveland. Vikings men's basketball should be accessible to as many fans as possible, and I believe we have done that through this new pricing and promotional strategy," said Scott Garrett, Cleveland State director of athletics. "We are excited about the trajectory of our team under coach Felton's leadership and believe we can make a direct impact on our home court advantage at the Wolstein Center by offering attractive season ticket pricing and a number of early purchase incentives."
Fans who purchase or renew season tickets on the first day available, June 17, will be entered into a prize drawing for Cleveland Indians tickets, a parking pass, courtside seats to a Cleveland State home game and restaurant gift cards and also receive a Dunkin Donuts gift card and a Cleveland State t-shirt. In addition, fans who purchase or renew tickets by July 31 will be entered into a month long prize drawing program in August, receive a $10 discount on the order processing fee and a complimentary Cleveland State scarf.
New ticket purchases in the lower level corner sections will start at $75 each, while seats in the lower level along the sidelines will cost just $99 each. Cleveland State faculty and staff can secure a special buy one, get one free offer and participate in payroll deduction. In addition to the promotional pricing options, center court lower level tickets will be available for $250, while courtside tickets along the sideline can be purchased for $750 and baseline courtside tickets are available at $600. Pregame and halftime VIP hospitality and season parking benefits can be acquired through the new Viking Fund annual giving membership program which will be officially announced on Monday, June 17.
Cleveland State's non-conference schedule will be announced this summer and the remainder of the schedule will be released in the fall as the Horizon League finalizes the conference slate. Cleveland State finished the 2018-19 season by winning four of its final six games, which included a road victory over Horizon League Tournament champion Northern Kentucky. The Vikings return all five starters from last season led by All-Horizon League selections Tyree Appleby and Rashad Williams.
Being a season ticket holder for men's basketball is the most affordable way to watch the Vikings play every game live during the upcoming season. In addition to paying the lowest price per game, season ticket holders can also redeem unused tickets through a ticket exchange program, receive discounted season parking and secure their tickets through payment plan options.
