Tristan Crawford can't wait for the season to begin. Forced to sit out the 2005-06 season so that he could meet NCAA initial eligibility requirements, Crawford is ready to show the skills that made him one of the best players in Pennsylvania as a senior. A natural scorer, he has the ability to create shots for himself and is a tremendous finisher, giving Gary Waters a offensive option that has been lacking from the Viking lineup the last couple of seasons.

    • Named the Pennsylvania Class AAA Player of the Year as a senior at Highspire High, playing for coach RIck Binder.
    • Averaged 23.0 points a game as a senior in leading the team to a 32-3 record and the state title.
    • Turned up his performance in the postseason, averaging 28.8 points in the four state tournament games. Closed his career with a 30-point effort in the championship game.
    • A third team all-state honoree as a junior, he ended his career with 2,141 career points.
    • Was ranked among the top 40 players in the region at the 2004 Boy's Basketball Shootout and as one of the top 20 seniors by the Pennsylvania/Maryland Basketball Camp.
    • Was recognized in the April 18 edition of Sports Illustrated as part of "Faces in the Crowd."
    • Earned all-conference and all-district honors in each of his final three seasons, playing on teams that posted a combined 81-12 record.
