    Jared Cunningham is the type of big man that Gary Waters likes to have in his program. He possesses the size and strength to be effective inside the paint and his ball-handling skills and shooting ability to force defenses to guard him along the perimeter. The most experienced of the Viking big men, look for him to play a major factor in the rotation this season.

    • Two-year starter at Arkansas-Fort Smith, playing for head coach Josh Newman.
    • Averaged 10.7 points and 5.3 rebounds in his two years, shooting .509 from the floor (216-424), .387 from three-point (65-168) and .798 from the line (83-104).
    • Helped team to a 51-13 record in his two seasons, including a conference title and trip to the NJCAA Region II semifinals as a sophomore.
    • Played on teams that went 51-13 in his two seasons, including a 28-4 mark as a freshman.
