Speed distinguishes Carlos English on the court. He has that extra gear that can accelerate the game up to the point where it pressures opposing defenses. But it is how he uses that quickness on the court that differentiates him from the rest of the players, possessing the ability to stay in control while playing at his top speed. The leading candidate to claim the starting point guard slot for the second straight season, English's ability to distribute the ball and run the Viking offense will go a long way towards CSU achieving success.
