Josh McCoy is on the cusp of breaking into the Viking rotation after missing most of the 2009-10 season because of injury. A reserve at shooting guard, his long-range shooting ability and improved defense have opened the door for more playing time, giving Gary Waters a big shooting guard that was missing from the lineup last season. A proven scorer from the perimeter - he mad 184 treys during his high school career - he will help to loosen up the lane area by bringing the defense to guard him on the perimeter while adding strong rebounding skills at both ends of the court.
