Terry Walker is the type of center that Mike Garland prefers in the Viking system. He has the size of a traditional center, but his height and athleticism enable him to run the floor effectively. His ability to impact a game defensively by blocking and altering shots should pay immediate dividends, allowing the freshman the time to hone his raw offensive skills.
