Post-Game Quotes
Cleveland State Head Coach Mike Garland: "We got off to a fantastic start tonight. They couldn't get a decent look in the first 10 minutes. We just wouldn't let them."
"We have to keep our eyes on the prize. We'll take the win any way. By 20 points, 10 points, two points. We'll take the win any way."
On Mike Redell: "I get carried away talking about this kid. He's starting to perform like I thought he would. He's a deliverer. Already, he's doing thngs that veteran point guards do, in terms of making his team better."
Cleveland State Guard Mike Redell: "I've gotten more comfortable, game by game. The biggest learning curve is finding your role and feeling comfortable with the team."
On getting the start as a freshman: " I think the guys have been really supportive. I felt, as the season goes on, I'm getting more comfortable with them and they're getting more comfortable with me. Point guard is a difficult position. You have to run the team."
Cleveland State Forward Raheem Moss: "Our scouting and our coaches did a great job of getting us prepared."
On finding his stroke: "I'm calm out there. I never rush or try to get ahead myself. Actually, I'm always comfortable playing at home."
Butler Head Coach Todd Lickliter: "That was a tough one. I thought on the very first play, the game was established. We couldnt slow them They shot it well. I like the way they played. I don't think I had my team prepared for the kind of effort that Cleveland State was going to give. We really didn't have an answer."
"It wasn't just that they shot the ball well, but they moved the ball well, they took shots they could make. They had the poise, and we didn't show poise."
