• Made a career-high 3 three-pointers, going 3-for-5 from beyond the arc.

• Scored 10 points, on five-for-eight shooting, his second career double-figure scoring game.

Miscellaneous
• The win improved CSU to 2-2 on the year while Central Michigan dropped to 1-3.
• The win snapped CSU's losing streak against Mid-American Conference opponents at nine games, including all seven games played against MAC teams under Mike Garland.
• Victor Morris did not start after missing the last two days of practice with a sprained right ankle. He entered the game with 17:41 left in the first half and played 29 minutes in the game.
• CSU took a 10-6 lead on an English three-pointer with 17:03 left and then went 9:28 without a point before Raheem Moss made two free throws with 7:35 left to pull CSU to within 15-12.
• CSU limited CMU to .313 shooting (15-48), the lowest figure by a CSU opponent this year (Rochester previously shot .320).
