CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The inaugural CSU Hoops Luncheon Series, presented by SportsTime Ohio and WKNR, will debut on Tuesday, Nov. 10 with Viking basketball fans having the opportunity to get monthly updates from CSU basketball head coaches Gary Waters and Kate Peterson Abiad throughout the 2009-10 season.

The first luncheon will take place beginning at 11:45 a.m. on the fifth floor Viking Loge of the Wolstein Center annex. Future luncheons will be held on Thursday, Dec. 17, Tuesday, Jan. 26 and Tuesday, Feb. 23.

Cost of admission is $12, which includes a buffet luncheon and beverages. Tables of eight are available for $96. The menu for the first luncheon includes chicken noodle soup, linguini salad, gourmet wraps (turkey, roast beef and roasted red pepper hummus), fruit platter, carrot cake and beverages.

The 75-minute luncheon will feature presentations from each of the Viking basketball head coaches, allowing fans to find out what is going on within the program and what they can expect in the weeks to come.

Parking is available for $1/hour in the recently opened South Garage, which is located just east of the Wolstein Center, between E. 21st and E. 22nd streets.
