    After spending four seasons with the Vikings, P.J. Myers will remain with the program as a graduate assistant coach. Myers concluded his golf career with Cleveland State last season, posting a 77.9 average in 127.5 rounds. He played every round of every tournament from his sophomore year on, leading the team in scoring in three tournaments.

    As a senior, he led the Vikings to a third-place finish at the Liberty Spring Classic, carding a 149 (75-75) for second place individually. The previous fall, he recorded a career-low round of 68 at the BGSU John Piper Invitational, finishing tied for 11th.

    A four-year letterwinner in golf at Cleveland's St. Ignatius High School, Myers turned in a second-place finish in the Division I state tournament as a senior. He posted a 38.3 stroke average his final year and holds the school record with a low round of 34. He was named the team captain and most valuable player as a senior and placed first in the sectional championship from 1996-98 and third at the district championship during the same period.

    Born on February 27, 1981, Myers is the son of James and Kathy Myers. He has two older brothers, James and Michael, and an older sister, Lauren. He was member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Board as a senior and was also participated in the French Club and Physics Club. He will graduate in December from the College of Business Administration with a degree in marketing.
