WEST CHICAGO, Ill. - Cleveland State opened the John Dallio Memorial Invitational with a season-low 296, but faltered in the afternoon to finish the day in 12th place at 609. DePaul is hosting the 14-team field at the par 72, 6,969 yard Prairie Landing GC. "I thought the morning round was indicative of what we're capable of as a team," CSU head coach Brian Varsey said. "However, we struggled a bit in the afternoon and really gave away some shots on the green. I'll be interested to see how we respond tomorrow with a chance to move up in the standings." Northern Iowa led the way with a six-over par 582 to take a two-shot advantage over the host Blue Demons heading into Tuesday's final round. South Dakota State is in third place at 587. DePaul's Matthew McMahon and Southern Illinois' Andy Rauscher are tied for the individual lead at three-under par (141). McMahon's teammate Cory Blenkush and SDSU's Landon Koss are knotted in third place, just a shot back. Senior Ben Grandy and junior Doug Barber paced the Vikings effort with matching 151s to tie for 30th. The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday morning. Team Scores Individual Leaders
