Xavier's John Streibich, the leader after two rounds, claimed medalist honors after posting a 68 in the final round to finish at 14-under par, 202. Austin Peay's Yoshio Yamamoto finished second at 204 (-12), while Daryl Fathauer was five shots farther back in third place. Mike Rutgers was CSU's top finisher in a tie for 38th at three-over par, 219. Jake Scott fired a final round 70 to move into a tie for 40th at 220. Steve Weir finished tied for 55th at 224, while Doug Barber was a shot back in a tie for 60th. "This was a nice way for Jake to finish out his first semester of collegiate golf," CSU head coach Tom Porten pointed out. "We gave away a few shots on the last hole or it would have been a pretty solid round. I think we have a lot to build on from our performances this fall, but at the same time we have a lot of hard work ahead of us." The tournament concluded the fall portion of the Vikings' schedule.
