CLEVELAND, Ohio – Saturday's scheduled contest between the Cleveland State University lacrosse team and Canisius had its date and time changed Thursday afternoon.
The game will now be played at the Demske Sports Complex on the Canisius campus Sunday, March 4, at Noon.
The change was deemed necessary due to the impending heavy snowfall, and subsequent Winter Storm Warning, expected for all of western New York.
The Vikings' game last week against Air Force had its location and time changed at the last minute. However, that proved no matter for Cleveland State as it defeated the preseason Southern Conference favorite to garner its first Division I victory on the road.
The Canisius game, the last of a four-game road trip for the Vikings, was originally scheduled to be played Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
