Day 1, Session 1 is officially off the calendar and into the books. We started our 2008 season as soon as we possibly could, running our fitness test under the lights at midnight.

The first CSU member to arrive at the session was...Athletic Director Lee Reed! And, he seemed to be just as excited as all our player to finally be back on the field again. The tension seemed to rise with the players filtering in as midnight approached, some donning their CSU Soccer training gear for the first time. Everyone was in great spirit, even though they all knew what awaited them on the northeast corner of Krenzler Field.

In the end, all the players did very well and ended a very long first day that included moving in, team meetings, photos, and dinner. With the clock approaching 2AM, its time for everyone to get some much needed rest so we can take Day 1, Session 2 off the calendar and into the books.

As Lee would say, it was a great night to be a Viking!
