    CHICAGO, Ill. - A cross off the foot of Loyola's Eric Gehrig found the back of the net at the 55:30 mark, giving the Ramblers a 2-0 lead over CSU in the first round of the Horizon League Championship at Loyola Soccer Park.

     

    Freshman Anthony Baraldi stripped the ball from a Loyola player in the left corner and sent a pass ahead that eventually was controlled by Gehrig, who fired the ball over a crowd of players and into the goal.

     

    A header from Loyola's Steven Graner gave the Ramblers a 1-0 lead over CSU at the 10:56 mark in the first round of the Horizon League Championship at Loyola Soccer Park. The Ramblers' Keum Sung Kim crossed to Graner from the right side.

     

    The Vikings had two good scoring opportunities early, including a shot by freshman George Kephart in the 13th minute that hit the post. Sophomore Nenad Stojkovic also had a shot in the box sail just wide.
