Trio Of Vikings Named To Verizon Academic All-District IV Men's Soccer Team

CLEVELAND - Three Cleveland State men's soccer players were named to the 11-member Verizon Academic All-District IV University Division Team released this afternoon. Seniors O.C. Haugen (Hornindal, Norway/Stryn), Matt Milcetich (Ravenna, Ohio/Kent Roosevelt) and Joachim Walker (Bay Village, Ohio/Bay) will all appear on next week's national ballot.

Haugen, who carries a 3.62 in economics, has recorded three goals and five assists from his midfield spot this season. A mechanical engineering major with a 3.70 GPA, Milcetich is one of CSU's top defenders. Walker, a liberal studies major with a 3.74 GPA, has posted 16 points this season, including a team-high six assists.

No. 2 Cleveland State (8-10-0/5-2-0 HL) hosts seventh-seeded UW-Green Bay (3-13-0/1-6-0 HL) tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. at Krenzler Field in Horizon League Quarterfinal action. This marks the first time that the Vikings have ever hosted a conference tournament match.
