Finished first in the 50 yard back with a time of 22.69 at the Horizon League Championships... had two more first place finishes at the Horizon League Championships in the 100 back (48.47) and the 200 back (1:46.35)...finished first at the Dennis Stark Relays with a time of 51.98 in the 75 yard back.


Was the team's top swimmer in 2011-12 in the 50 (23.17), 100 (50.25), and 200-yard (1:48.11) backstrokes...Was a member of the CSU's top 200 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay...Member of winning 200-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay, and 400-yard medley relay teams at Horizon League Championships...Finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke and second in the 200-yard breaststroke at the Horizon League Championships

Took second in the 200 back with a time of 1:49.74 at the Horizon League Championships after a 1:49.66 prelim...recorded his best time in the 100 back (50.82) at the league meet to take sixth...also had his best time in the 200 free (1:41.77), placing 10th, at the League Championships...earned best 100 free (47.69) against Notre Dame.

Represented New Zealand in the Trans-Tasman Competition in 2009, earning the gold in the 200 fly...national age group champion at the ages of 12, 13, 15 and 18...holder of over 10 Canterbury short course and long course records...since the age of 12 has won over 20 national medals.
