Swam in the backstroke and freestyle events as a freshman...set career marks in the 100 (55.00) and 200 (2:02.77) back as well as the 1,000 (10:09.75) free at the Horizon League Championships...clocked a season-low 1:53.21 in the 200 free versus Wright State and Youngstown State (2/4).

Earned three letters in cross country and one in track...member of the National Honor Society.
