2002-02 - Junior Season
Competed in the freestyle distance events...was a finalist in the 200, 500 and 1650 freestyle at the Horizon League Championships...also was part of the 800 freestyle relay championship team...had the team's second-best swims in the 500 freestyle (4:38.54), 1000 freestyle (9:50.44) and 1650 freestyle (16:35.78).
1999-01 - Grossmont Community College
Swam two years for the community college, located in San Diego, California...named the team's Most Valuable Swimmer both seasons...was the 2001 National Junior College Champion in the 500 (4:32.30) and 1650 (15:55.51) freestyles...holds the school records in the 200, 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyles.
High School
Did not compete for a high school team...swam for the club team SercSao Caetano under coach Mirco Cervales...was the Brazilian Junior National Champion in the 200 and 400 freestyles from 1996-98.
