Dan Baiko
"Son of Ken Baiko, Dan is a wonderful story. He had only one year of diving experience in high school, and developed into one of the top divers in our conference, perhaps the top diver this season. He is a health science major, and has been on the dean's list and has received the academic award of excellence."
Dave Duecker
"Son of Jennifer and Christopher Duecker. One of the most amazing swimmers in CSU history. Ounce for ounce the most amazing swimmer in school history. He finished first in the 400 IM last year at the Horizon League Championships. He is second all time in school history in the 400 IM, eighth in the 200 fly, and ninth in the 200 breast. He can swim any event and do it well. He is one of the top tri-athletes in nation. He is a Physics major and academic award of excellence recipient, and we will really miss him."
Khaled Elgamal
"Son of Fouad and Tima. Khaled is one of our best distance freestylers for the past four years, and our best pure distance swimmer this year. He has a wonderful sense of humor, and is a big part of the success of the team. He is an academic excellence award recipient in the toughest major at CSU - electrical engineering."
Taylor Dopuch
"Son of Steve and Debbie, Taylor is a very unselfish person and total team player. He is an excellent swimmer in the butterfly events but will swim the distance events this year at the league championship. Taylor is willing to help the team out any way he can. His parents have hosted multiple times for Thanksgiving and other occasions. Taylor is an English major."
Ari Markle"Son of Jonathan and Cindy Markle. His parents have helped our program in many ways over the years hosting the swimmers and helping with the parents group. Ari has been co-captain of the team for two straight years. He is one of our top swimmers in the 100 backstroke, 200 back, and 100 fly. He is one of our leaders on the team, and was key to helping us win the Horizon League Championship in 2006. Ari is a communications major and multiple recipient of the academic award of excellence."
Johan Norling
"From Stockholm, Sweden and son of Bo and Cecelia. He is fifth all time in CSU history in the 50 free, seventh all time in the 100 free, and fifth all-time in the 100 butterfly. One of the great swimmers in CSU history. Majoring in international business and is an academic award of excellence recipient.
Stef Potgieter
"From Sasolburg, South Africa and son of Paul and Renate. He is a co-captain, and one of the best breaststrokers in school history. He finished second in the 200 breast at the Horizon League Championship last season. He is fourth all-time in school history in the 200 breaststroke and sixth all-time in the 100 breast. He is a dean's list student and recipient of the academic award of excellence. He is a wonderful person with a bright future."
