Cleveland - Through 26 events at the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championship, the Cleveland State men's team stands in third place with 431 points. The Vikings trail leader Wright State by 41 points going into the last day of events at the Robert F. Busbey Natatorium. Seniors Andrew Hancock and Mauricio Barrios posted a 1-3 showing in the 400 IM, recording times of 3:59.20 and 4:02.64, respectively. Junior Warren Vickers also performed well, taking first in the 100 breast with a time of 56.55. The Vikings then closed out day two on a strong note, winning the 800 free relay with a Championship-record time of 6:42.22.
The third and final day of the Horizon League Championships begins tomorrow morning with time trials at 10:30 a.m. and the finals at 6:00 p.m. Up to the minute scores and results can be found by clicking on the Horizon League Championships logo on the swimming web page.
