VALPARAISO, Ind. - Cleveland State dropped a pair of matches over the weekend, falling 6-1 to both Valparaiso and UW-Green Bay. The Vikings were in action for the first time since a successful showing at the Nike Fall Classic at St. Bonaventure, Sept. 21-23.

Against the Crusaders, freshman Paul Haley (San Antonio, Texas/Judson) earned a 7-5, 7-5 victory at No. 2 singles, while fellow freshman Eric Winn (Austin, Texas/Westlake) won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles versus the Phoenix.

The Vikings are in action this Saturday against IPFW in their final home match of the fall.
