COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Phil Orno is the lone Viking set to compete in the main draw of the ITA Regional Tournament on Saturday morning.

After a strong showing in his first two pre-qualifying matches, Rob West fell to Minnesota's Michael Sicora, 6-4, 6-4, closing out his fall performance.

The doubles team of Orno and Ryan Hamning defeated opponents from Indiana before being eliminated by Mike O'Connell and Balazs Novak of Ohio State.

"All of our guys played really good tennis today," CSU assistant coach Mark Barry said. "We really improved from day one, and hopefully Phil will be able to carry that into his match tomorrow."

Orno is scheduled to play his first match of the main draw at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
