The prize recruit of the Class of 2011, Palivoda is expected to continue his success from last season as the starter at 133 pounds. An aggressive wrestler with a quick first step, he continues the family tradition at CSU, following in the footsteps of his father and his uncle.

2007-08 Freshman Season
Posted a 10-21 record at 133 pounds...finished the year by placing fourth at the EWL Championships...scored a sixth place finish at the Michigan State Open, where he went 5-1...also went on to collect key victories against John Carroll, Mercyhurst, LockHaven, and Pittsburg...tallied wins in his first two EWL matches.

High School
Capped off brilliant 46-1 senior season with first place finish at Division I Ohio state championship, at 130 lbs...school record in career wins with 156, and most tournament individual championships...Four-time state qualifier and honorable mention pick as high school All-American senior year...went 42-6 as junior, finishing fifth at the state meet.
