COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Cleveland State wrestling team was in action on Sunday at the Ohio State Duals.

The Vikings fell to Notre Dame College, 41-3, to open the event before losing to Findlay in session two, 37-3. CSU concluded its day with a 51-3 setback to third-ranked Ohio State in the final session.

Senior 174-pounder Marcus Effner posted wins in both of his matches, earning a 3-2 decision against Notre Dame College and a 5-1 win over TC Pendleton of Ohio State. Effner did not wrestle against Findlay.

Sophomore 157-pounder Corey Carlo was the only other Viking to pick up a win, earning a 7-4 decision versus Findlay.

The Vikings will be back in action on Tuesday (Nov. 24) when CSU hosts John Carroll at 7:00 p.m. in Woodling Gym.
