It All Comes Down to This: Baseball/Wrestling Challenge

The baseball and wrestling teams have been continuing their Horizon League/EWL Challenge this week and today marks the final day of the challenge. The teams will compete in an obstacle course challenge at 4:00 p.m. at Krenzler Field.

Through the first seven events, the challenge has done exactly what the coaches had hoped as the teams continue to push for the top of the standings.

Team 8, consisting of wrestlers, heads into the final challenge in first place with 43 points. However, four baseball teams follow, including Teams 2 and 4 with 39 points and Team 3 with 38 points. Team 1 is close behind with 34 points, while Team 6, which is wrestlers, has 33 points, giving several teams a chance to win the title today.

The obstacle course will have a staggered start based on distance, meaning Team 8 will have a slight advantage.
