    CSU Will Begin The Second Half Of League Play Against The Bulldogs

    At 6-foot-3, Destinee Blue is easily the tallest player on the CSU roster, giving the Vikings a solid low post presence. After adapting to the collegiate game during her first two seasons, Blue took on a larger role last year and will once again be the most experienced post player on the roster. An athletic player on the blocks, she can score with her back to the basket, rebound and block shots.

    2010-11 - JUNIOR SEASON
    • Started all 33 games, ending the year ranked third on the team in scoring (10.2) and second in rebounding (7.2).
    • Finished the season ranked third in the league in field goal percentage (.519; 125-241), eighth in offensive rebounds (2.5) and 10th in rebounding.
    • Had a team-high 15 points and nine rebounds against Chicago State (3/19/11) in the WBI second round.
    • Scored 16 points with 10 boards in league semifinal vs. Butler (3/11/11).
    • Had 16 points and career-high 17 rebounds in win over UIC (3/5/11), with the 17 boards marking the most by a CSU player since 1997-98.
    • Scored 13 points and had 11 rebounds in wins against Valparaiso (2/10/11) and Butler (2/12/11).
    • Tied career-high with 20 points at Youngstown State (1/29/11), adding 12 rebounds.
    • Had 10 points and 11 boards vs. Wright State (1/22/11).
    • Notched 10 points and 11 rebounds at Loyola (1/2/11).
    • Had 13 points and 11 boards vs. Lake Erie (12/28/10).
    • Scored career-high 20 points with a then career-best 13 rebounds at Indiana (11/28/10). Also added career-highs in minutes (38), free throws made (10) and attempted (12) and steals (3).

    • Averaged 2.0 points and 1.9 rebounds per game, playing 8.1 minutes per contest as a sophomore.
    • Made her presence felt with five points in six minutes against Green Bay (3/12/10) in league semifinal win.
    • Logged 19 minutes, finishing with six points and five rebounds at Youngstown State (2/20/10).
    • Scored seven points with six rebounds versus Butler (1/14/10).
    • Played the final 14 minutes at UIC (1/9/10), scoring five points and grabbing three rebounds, while providing key defensive stops.
    • Was 7-for-11 at the free throw line vs. Iona (11/27/09), both then career highs.
    • Had four rebounds in seven minutes vs. Marquette (11/26/09).
    • Appeared in 23 games as a freshman, averaging 2.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per game.
    • Finished with three points and three boards in 13 minutes of action in league quarterfinal win over UIC (3/11/09).
    • Scored seven points- all in a five minute stretch in the first half - with two rebounds at Loyola (2/28/09).
    • Totaled six points with five rebounds vs. Niagara (12/21/08).
    • Tallied four points and two rebounds at No. 18 Ohio State (12/15/08).
