Destinee Blue is the future for CSU down on the blocks. After adjusting to the collegiate game last season and honing her skills, she is poised to display the strides that she made on the basketball court from last season. An athletic post player, Blue can score with her back to the basket, rebound and block shots, giving the Vikings a solid low post presence.
2008-09 - Freshman Season
Appeared in 23 games, all as a reserve.
Averaged 2.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per game, shooting .462 (18-39) from the field.
Finished with three points and three boards in 13 minutes of action in league quarterfinal win over UIC (3/11).
Scored seven points- all in a five minute stretch in the first half - with two rebounds at Loyola (2/28).
Hit both of her field goal attempts for five points with two boards vs. Youngstown Sate (2/14).
