Entering his fourth season with the Vikings, Oties Epps has brought a high level of enthusiasm and intensity to the CSU bench.

A men's assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Stout for three seasons prior to his arrival in Cleveland, Epps joined Kate Peterson's staff for the 2004-05 season.

A native of Highland Park, Mich., Epps' numerous duties include working with the guards and helping with overall player development, while assisting with recruiting. He also serves as the strength and conditioning liaison and assists with opponent scouting and game strategy.

Epps was a small college first team All-American and a first team NAIA west region pick at Mount Scenario College in 1996-97, earning all-conference honors three times. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in human development from UW-Stout in 2002.

While a student at UW-Stout, he served as an assistant coach on the men's basketball staff. His duties included working with the perimeter players, assisting with recruiting and coordinating opponent scouting reports.

He holds a master's in education from UW-Stout.

Epps, and his wife Kelly, live in Brunswick with their daughters Makayla, Madison and Aliah.
