Shawnita Garland is without a doubt one of the top all-around players in the Horizon League. A second team all-league selection in each of the last two seasons, Garland can make a difference on both ends of the court. She can score in a variety of ways on offense - driving to the basket, a mid-range jumper, three-pointers and getting to the free throw line - and uses her quickness and athleticism to disrupt the opposition on defense which help create easy baskets in transition.
