Sallie Gordon is in her third season as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Vikings program. Just the second person to hold the position in program history, Gordon arrived at CSU after serving as an event coordinator at Key West Youth Basketball Clinic in Key West, Fla. Her duties included constructing and leading meetings with the clinic staff and supervising event day-operation and set-up. Gordon also served as an intern for the High School All-American Game from January through May of 2009 in Lilburn, Ga. She managed the player selection process, which included a commitment from the No. 1 player in the country. Gordon acted as a liaison between the WBCA and players, parents and coaches. In addition, her marketing efforts brought in a game-day record walk-up crowd of 500 people. Gordon got her start as a team manger/student assistant with the Georgetown College women's basketball team. Gordon assisted in managing game day and practice operations, including video recording and exchange, while planning special events, such as alumni reunions and team banquets. She was also a member of the 2003-04 squad. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown College in 2007 and a Master's of Science in Sport Administration from Georgia State in 2009. |
