Keena Rembert emerged as the team's best on-the-ball defender last year as a freshman. That strength, coupled with her athleticism and ability to getting to the basket will enable her to contribute significantly at small forward or at a guard spot.
2003-04 -- Freshman Season
Scored a career-high 13 points in Horizon League quarterfinal contest against Butler (3/4), also dishing out a career-best four assists
Averaged 3.9 points and 2.1 rebounds
Fourth on the team with 29 steals
Played in all 28 games as one of the top reserves, averaging 15.6 minutes a game
Grabbed a career-high six rebounds in 26 minutes at Detroit (2/21)
Notched 10 points against IPFW (1/26)
Scored a then career-best 11 points against Ohio (12/20) and matched it the next time out versus Youngstown State (12/30), also swiping four steals against the Penguins
