    Shannon Sword showed down the stretch last season that she is capable of carrying a team offensively. Cleveland State's all-time leader in three-point field goal percentage, she is an excellent finisher around the basket, but can also step out to the three-point line. The Vikings will also count on her defensive presence in the post.

    • Stood 14th in the league in scoring (11.7 points per game) and 12th in rebounding (5.5 rpg)
    • Also ranked among the conference leaders in field goal pct. (11th - .466) and defensive rebounds (9th - 4.00)
    • Was nearly unstoppable in the Horizon League Championship, averaging 19.5 points per game and 8.5 rpg in CSU's two games
    • Set career-highs with 21 points and 12 rebounds in semifinal game against Detroit on March 7
    • Tallied 16 points in career-high 38 minutes at Detroit on March 1
