    CINCINNATI - Playing for the first time in two weeks, the Cleveland State women's golf team carded a 354 and stands in fifth place after one round of the Cincinnati/Dayton Women's Collegiate Invitational. The opening round was held at the par 72, 5,998 yard Clovernook Country Club.

    Cincinnati leads the team race with a 323, just a shot ahead of Northern Kentucky.

    CSU's Trish Randall posted a career-low 81 and stands in a tie for seventh place, just five shots out of the lead. Kristen Obush carded an 83 -- good for a tie for 10th.

    Northern Kentucky's Alicia Lawrence shot a 76 and leads Oakland's Trish Ellsworth by a shot in the race for medalist.

    The tournament concludes on Tuesday (April 5) with 18 holes at the The Golf Club at Yankee Trace in Centerville, Ohio.
