HUNTLEY, Ill. - Cleveland State shot a final round 353 in blustery conditions on Tuesday to finish sixth at the Huskie Classic hosted by Northern Illinois. The Vikings posted a two-round total of 709 as the host school claimed the title at the 5,896-yard, par 72 Prairie Landing Golf Club with a 36-hole total of 646. CSU was led by freshman Amanda Glatfelter (Fairfield, Ohio/Fairfield), who finished tied for 11th at 169. "The wind blew consistently strong both days, making scoring very difficult," CSU head coach Tom Porten said. "I thought we did a good job of battling through the conditions. I was especially pleased with Amanda's performance." Cincinnati's Hillery Wilson and Northern Illinois' Lisa Bailey shared medalist honors at 157. Junior Kristen Obush (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) tied for 18th at 174 (85-89). Cleveland State returns to action next week when it hosts the CSU Invitational on Oct. 11-12 at Fowlers Mill Golf Club in Chesterland, Ohio. Team Scores: CSU Individual Scores:
