CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Senior Kristen Obush fired an 81 to lead Cleveland State on the first day of the F & M Bank Austin Peay Invitational. The Vikings stand 12th out of 16 schools competing at the 5,852-yard, par 71 Clarksville C.C. "I thought we played pretty well today, although we gave back some shots coming down the stretch," CSU head coach Tom Porten said. "We kept the ball in play off the tee and managed our games much better today." Princeton leads at the midway point of the tournament with a 315 -- four shots ahead of Murray State. The Vikings posted a team score of 345. Melissa Reeves (Wichita State), Sharla Cloutier (Princeton) and Nikki Orazine (Murray State) are tied for the lead with opening round 75s. Obush stands in a tie for 12th, while freshman Amanda Glatfelter carded an 85 and is tied for 38th. The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday (Oct. 26) morning.
