VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Junior Kristen Obush carded a final-round 78 in blustery conditions to finish sixth at the TPC at Virginia Beach Intercollegiate. Ohio finished at 634 to hold on for a one-shot victory over Florida Atlantic. Cleveland State came in ninth with a 693. Old Dominion hosted the tournament for the second year in a row at the 5,852-yard, par 72 Pete Dye design. High Point's Kate O'Sullivan finished at 151 to edge Wyoming's Laura Mengelkamp by one shot for medalist honors. Obush, who finished at 157, was one of only eight golfers (out of 64) to break 80 as the weather took a turn for the worse. Junior Mollie Porter tied for 36th at 176. "I knew Kristen's game would be suited to the conditions, but she just had too many shots to try and make up in one round," CSU head coach Tom Porten said. "Overall, I was pleased with how we competed in our final tournament of the fall." The Vikings are off until the spring. Team Scores: CSU Individuals:
