INDIANPOLIS, Ind. – Following a 2-0 weekend at Krenzler Field, the Cleveland State women's soccer duo of Sarah Kaiser and Sarah Wood picked up Horizon League Weekly Honors. Kaiser was named the Offensive Player of the Week and Wood was named the Defensive Player of the Week. The league made the announcement Monday (Sept. 16) afternoon.
Kaiser and Wood led Cleveland State to a pair of shutouts last weekend, earning a 2-0 victory over UMass-Lowell and a 3-0 victory against Robert Morris, marking the first time CSU posted back-to-back shutouts since October of 2010. With the two wins, the Vikings are now 4-4 on the season.
