    •    CSU continues its busy stretch of five matches in seven days with three contests this week.
    •    The Vikings host Madonna at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 18) and Ohio on Friday (Sept. 20) at 7:00 p.m. CSU then heads to Akron on Sunday (Sept. 22) at 1:00 p.m.
    •    CSU is 4-4 overall after earning a pair of shutouts last weekend. The Vikings defeated UMass-Lowell, 2-0, on Friday and Robert Morris, 3-0, on Sunday.
    • Wednesday's match will be the first-ever in program history against Madonna. CSU trails in the series vs. Ohio, 3-2-1, while Akron holds a 5-0 advantage in the all-time series.

    •    Freshman Sarah Kaiser was named the Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week and sophomore Sarah Wood was tabbed the Defensive Player of the Week for their performances in CSU's two wins last week.
    •    Kaiser scored a goal in both CSU victories. She scored her first career goal against UMass-Lowell on Friday and followed that up with the game-winning goal against Robert Morris on Sunday.
    •    Wood posted back-to-back shutouts, making nine total saves. She had two in the win over U-Mass Lowell and seven versus Robert Morris.
    •    It is the second time this season Wood has earned the honor.

    •    The Vikings earned back-to-back shutouts over the weekend, blanking U-Mass-Lowell (2-0) and Robert Morris (3-0).
    •    It marked the first time CSU posted back-to-back shutouts since October of 2010 when the Vikings defeated Wright State (1-0 on Oct. 15) and won at Valparaiso 2-0 on Oct. 22.

    •    Sarah Wood leads the league with 59 saves and is second with two shutouts.
    •    Wood made a career-high 12 saves in a Sept. 6 setback at Miami (Fla.) and posted 11 saves versus Canisius.
    •    Wood's 124 career saves are the fourth most in CSU history.

    •    Vickie Havas, a member of the Horizon League All-Newcomer team last year, leads the team with six points this year.
    •    She is tied for the team-lead with two goals and two assists.
    •    Havas totaled four points in CSU's two wins last weekend, notching an assist in the win over U-Mass Lowell and a goal and two assists vs. Robert Morris.

    •    CSU opens Horizon League play when the Vikings host Detroit at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 28) in CSU's lone match of the week.
