Maggie Pugliese is entering her second season with the Vikings as an assistant coach, and has been a part of the CSU women's soccer program ever since its inaugural season in 2004.
During her playing days, she was exactly what the team strived to be under Falor. She was a versatile and spontaneous defender and showed the improvement and consistency the coaching staff was trying to instill in the team as she started 45 of her 53 career games including 14 of 15 games in her senior campaign.
Playing a vital role in the inaugural year for the Vikings, Pugliese had a profound effect on the team in her five years of involvement. Plagued with a knee injury early in her sophomore year, Pugliese returned from surgery stronger and all the more wise to lead her team on and off the field.
A native of Bay Village, Pugliese is a communication major and marketing minor graduate and will be continuing her education with graduate studies in non-profit organizations and leadership.
