Skills Camp (March 29)
One of the top performers on the team, Christa Coppus will leave the program later this spring as one of the top all-around performers in the history of the program. She won't leave however before she gets the opportunity to earn All-Horizon League honors for the fourth conscutive season. A starter in all 149 games during her CSU career, she is being counted on once again to help anchor the Viking infield defense from her shortstop position. She starts her senior campaign as the Viking career record holder with a .361 batting average, a number accomplished because of her ability to hit for power, stroke the ball into the gaps and use her speed to bet out ground balls.
