Amber Lowe will moves to left field this season after an all-league freshman campaign last year at shortstop. With her bat control and speed, Lowe can disrupt the game from her leadoff spot in the batting order.

2005 - Freshman Season
Emerged as an offensive leader at the top of the line-up, earning second team all-league and all-newcomer accolades...led the team with 53 hits and a league-high 19 stolen bases on 29 attempts...was second on the team with a .294 average, scoring 19 runs and driving in 12...batted .290 in league play...led the team with 14 multi-hit games...recorded a team-best 14-game hitting streak from March 16-April 11...scored three runs at Youngstown State (5/3)...went 4-for-6 with two RBI and a pair of steals against Youngstown State (4/19)...was 4-for-5 with two RBI and two runs versus Wright State (4/16)...went 3-for-3 with three steals against Monmouth (3/12).

High School
Second-team all-Ohio selection as a senior at Carrollton HS...three-time first team all-conference pick...first team all-district selection all four years...led team to three straight sectional titles...stole 28 bases as a freshman and tallied eight triples with a .423 average when selected as team's best offensive player as a junior...voted team's best defensive player as a sophomore when she recorded a .948 fielding percentage...also lettered twice in volleyball.
