Amanda Macenko is quite simply the best pictcher in the Horizon League and one of the top throwers in the midwest. The reigning Horizon League Pitcher of the Year, she overwhelms opponents at the plate with an array of pitches that feature good movement and speed changes. She still has room to improve however as she continues to learn the nuances of the game and understand the art of pitching. Once just a flame-throwing right-hander, she has learned the importance of changing speeds and hitting spots. Look for her to throw the lion's share of innings this year.
