Mimi Mahon may be the surprise find during the spring recruiting period. A transfer from Rio Grande, she obliterated opponents' pitching during her two seasons and is now ready for the challenge of facing NCAA Division I pitching. Her versatility allows her to play any of the infield positions, including catcher, allowing Angie Nicholson to move her around the infield to create the best lineup possible. Her aggressiveness at the plate has resulted not only a high average, but good power as well.
